Friendly, Lorient - Rennes : An « excusable » lack of realism for Antonetti

Rather bitter against his team after the defeat to Brest last Wednesday (Read more), Frédéric Antonetti seemed more serene to discuss his team’s defeat to Lorient. This is at least what transpires from the club’s official website.

Happy that he could observe «everyone for a rather long period», the Rennes manager considered his players’ lack of realism « a bit more pardonable »: «This is the end of the week, we lack a bit of energy. We had less excuses on Wednesday. I’ve seen interesting things, we managed to create ourselves chances».
