Former Players: Briand and Hansson on the scoresheet

Transferred to Olympique Lyonnais this summer, Jimmy Briand was still to score his first goal for his new club. This is now done, since the former Rennes striker scored the third goal of his team in a friendly against English club Nottingham Forest (3-1).

Profiting of an error from the “Tricky Trees”’ defence, Briand shown some of his ability often displayed for Rennes. However, he will still have to wait before his first “official” goal with Lyon. The last in date was scored during a game in Marseille (3-1, Game Week 36), on 5th May with the Stade Rennais.

As for Petter Hansson, he also scored his first ever goal for Monaco. Opposed to Dynamo Moscow (3-1), the former defender and captain of Rennes scored with a header on a cross by Adriano.
