Former Players: Mbia sanctioned by Marseille

Arrived three days too late to the Olympique de Marseille pre-season camp, Stéphane Mbia has received financial sanctions from his club for not informing them in time of his delay, caused by "correspondence problems"according to the player.

Jean-Claude Dassier, Marseille’s president explained that the Cameroon international had "cocked up" on the occasion, and would receive a fine: " He explained me the reasons of his delay and apologised. He’s a great bloke, and we’re not at the casern. The case is closed but he will get a financial sanction".
