Injuries: No perforated kidney for Lemoine

Taken off the pitch on the stretcher following a hard contact with Lemaitre, after 15 minutes in the game between Nancy and Rennes, Fabien Lemoine was immediately transferred to Nancy’s hospital during the game

A first diagnosis announced his kidneys could have been damaged in the process, and the player was expected to undergo surgery, according to daily newspaper Ouest-France.

On Sunday morning, Pierre Dréossi gave comforting news about the player to radio RMC, stating the player’s kidney wasn’t perforated as initially feared. The player did not eventually have surgery last night, but he remains at Nancy’s hospital at the moment.
