Lemoine...and Lemaitre are feeling better

Karl Chaory, the club’s doctor, brought comforting news about Fabien Lemoine , who underwent surgery to have his right kidney removed last Thursday at Nancy’s hospital and remains there at the moment to recover.

"He is in much less pain since the operation and feels generally much better. He still has some difficulties to breathe but the surgery solved the biggest danger, and the evolution is particularly good.”, he explained to AFP this week-end. Next week, Lemoine will receive the visit of Rennes’ president Patrick Le Lay and his Nancy’s counterpart Jacques Rousselot.

In the starting team on Saturday night at Nice (1-1), Reynald Lemaître admitted to L’Équipe that he had been shocked by the situation: “To go and visit Fabien at the hospital, meet his family, his parents, his little daughter, it was hard, it has marked me. It was very disturbing me to meet them in such circumstances”.

On the pitch however, the Nancy defender promised he has “gone beyond it” since the incident: “If I start thinking about it, it will get wrong. I’m a football player, I never plan to hurt anyone”,. He comments.
