Lemoine was “very scared”

Lemoine was “very scared”

Nice surprise yesterday at the Piverdière, when Fabien Lemoine came to greet his teammates. Transferred back to Rennes’ hospital last Friday, the Rennes midfielder has been returning home on Monday afternoon.

Still weak after his operation, Lemoine took profit of his short stay to have a chat with the players and staff at the Club’s training ground. Talking to Ouest-France, he looked back at the incident.

"I told the doctor who was getting ready to operate me: Your turn now. It made me laugh. It’s only going to the operation theatre, I started to flip out. Honestly, I would have preffered to have both knees broken. At that time I realised it was a life-saving operation. Anytime I closed my eyes I was feeling very bad. I was scared. Very scared”, he explained.
