M’Vila avoids the external solicitations

Yann M’Vila’s ascension since a bit more than a year is now well known. Gone from the Reserve to Stade Rennes’ professional squad last year, the young midfielder, a Gambardella cup winner in 2008, discovered international football with France this summer.

His performances under the French shirt are also bringing their lot of inconveniences. Talking to Le Parisien on Monday, M’Vila admitted to be more careful about all the solicitations he receives at the moment: “The worse are the agents. Plenty of them call me to tell me they can get me a transfer in the biggest European clubs. But where were they when I was playing with the Reserve? One of the first things I did after the game in Norway was to change my phone number” explained the player who recently extended his contract with Rennes by an additional season, tying him to the club until June 2014.
