Antonetti: “I call this a dickhead”

But who is that guy, who always gets the Rennes coach angry during the game? Yet another episode of the feud between Frédéric Antonetti and a Route de Lorient spectator on Sunday, during the game against Toulouse (3-1).

Sitting just being the Rennes bench, the man seems to take much pleasure in annoying Antonetti on his choice, the way the Stade Rennais plays… As a hot blooded Corsican, the “Rouge et Noir” coach could not help replying to him, once more, during the game.

Interviewed at the end of the game, Antonetti was visibly still angry at his critic: “He is a right pain. It’s always the same guy and he deserves to be slapped. That’s his only reason to come. I call this a dickhead (…) He tells me: “But me, I pay”. I reply to him he doesn’t give him any special rights (…) in other circumstances, I would lodge my fist in his face, he really deserves it”. Who said the atmosphere isn’t warm enough at the Stade de la Route de Lorient?
