International: Brahimi starting from the bench, M'Vila in the stands

The international break came to an end this Tuesday. Kader Mangane and Georges Mandjeck had already returned to Rennes, but two players were competing in the evening with their respective national teams.

In the starting eleven on Saturday, Yann M’Vila remained out of the squad in France victory over Luxemburg (2-0, with a goal by former Rennes player Yoann Gourcuff). The Rennes midfielder left his place to returning Abou Diaby, while Alou Diarra kept the position of anchor midfielder in front of the defence.
M’Vila wasn’t on the match sheet either, and he followed the game from the stands.

Meanwhile, France U21 played their second friendly of the week in Denmark. In the starting eleven on Friday against Turkey, Yacine Brahimi was this time left on the bench by Érick Mombaerts, before entering the field at the 82nd minute to replace Djamel Bakar. His team won by three goals to one, which already was the half-time scoreline.
