Boukari won’t lose his head about his aborted Rennes transfer

In today’s edition, France Football are looking back at the approach by Stade Rennes to try and recruit RC Lens’ Razak Boukari as their attacking joker (see previously).

Lens president Gervais Martel commented: “ I get on very well with Pierre Dréossi”, he explained. I’ve told him we don’t even need to sit around a table. And Martel continues, re-affirming his willingness to keep his player on board. “I don’t have to sell him, I rely on him”, he finished.

As for Boukari himself, the Togolese international explained he did not insist too much on leaving. “Was I disappointed? Yes and No, he declared to website Lensois.com. Considering the club’s situation, Gervais Martel signalled me immediately that he doesn’t want me to leave the club. I’ve taken good not of it and I’m not getting to lose my head about this. If I was to leave, it will happen in due time”.
