Discipline : hope for Mangane

According to L’Équipe in this day’s edition, the LFP video commission seating yesterday recommended to cancel the red card shown to Kader Mangane last Saturday, against Montpellier.

A decision which tends to agree with the club and its captain, who kept on repeating since Saturday, that Mr Moreira’s decision was “unfair”

It isn’t certain however, that Mangane will be cleared by the LFP’s Commission of Discipline, since Mr Moreira refused to consider his decision as an error, and preferred to talk about a “personal interpretation” of the action.

This Thursday, the Commission of Discipline will have to choose between two opposed opinions: The video commission’s on one side, and the referee’s report on the other. At stake is the presence of Mangane in Marseille this Saturday. A decision is expected to be taken during the evening.
