Le Lay: “No reason to let Fanni go”

Le Lay: “No reason to let Fanni go”

Last night, Jean-Clausde Dassier’s declarations (see previously) seemed to reveal the inability of Rennes and Marseille to agree on financial terms regarding Rod Fanni’s transfer.

The issue was implicitly confirmed by Patrick Le Lay, after the game, La Provence reports. “Did you think Rod played badly tonight?, the Rennais president asked. No! Therefore, there would be no reason for us to let him go”.

A way to close a chapter, that Marseille seem to have already forgotten. According to the newspaper, the Olympique management has already focused its attention on other targets.
