Rennes - Monaco: Danzé to play in attack?

According to the press this morning, Frédéric Antonetti is considering serious innovation into his starting eleven against Monaco tonight.

Kader Mangane’s return will allow the Rennes manager to do with one more option in the attacking sector. Since neither Brahimi, nor Camara nor Leroy seem to have convinced their manager on the left flank, and this option would award the position to Jirès Kembo Ekoko.

On the right wing, and to replace the best Rennes goal scorer this season (4 goals), Antonetti would advance Romain Danzé one position forwards, with Fanni returning at right back. An option that would allow the manager to maintain a central defence composed of Mangane and Kana-Biyik, that showed much promised when lined-up.

Trained as midfielder, Danzé would return to a position he has already known under Guy Lacombe’s management, then in a 4-5-1 formation.
