Transfers : the Real Madrid interested in M’Vila ?

A Rennes supporter in Spain would have had an interesting surprise, seeing that the front page of AS, this Tuesday, wasn’t dedicated to the three Ballon d’Or finalists but to Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila.

«El Madrid se fija en M’Vila», the daily newspaper titles in big characters, announcing that the young international is attracting much attention from the Real Madrid. AS, known for profiting extensively of Real’s interest for such or such player, affirms in its columns that the merengue club has contacted the Stade Rennais for information.

Nothing filtered from that first contact, but the Spanish newspaper seems to know that Stade Rennes won’t enter into talks under a 15 million euros transfer fee. For the Real, still according to AS, M’Vila’s recruitment is planned with the same policy of quickness that led to the transfers of Germans Mesut Özil and Sami Khedira. In other words, recruit early, young and well in order to avoid paying a bigger price in the future.

M’Vila affirmed recently, that he expected to stay in Rennes next season (read previously), the outcome will probably be linked to the attitude adopted by the Rennes management. They will certainly not one the finest player ever graduated from their academy leave for cheap, especially since he is contracted with the club until 2014. Contacted by L’Équipe refused to do any comment regarding the alleged interest from the Spanish club.
