Transfers: Done deal for Fanni?

According to radio RMC, Stade Rennes and the Olympique Marseille have finally reached an agreement of the transfer of Rod Fanni. Since several days, discussions had been blocked over the transfer fee.

Jean-Claude Dassier, the OM president talking to L’Équipe, also confirmed that the transfer is “well on its way”, noting however that “two or three details remain to be discussed”.

Now, the Marseille management will be able to start discussing with Fanni over the terms of his future contract. The last hurdle, alongside with the medical, to this much discussed transfer. “If the player’s expectations (Ed.: In term of wages) are too high, it won’t happen”, Dassier warned.
