Bordeaux - Rennes : Tigana reorganises his defence

In preparation to Sunday’s game between the Girondins de Bordeaux and Stade Rennes, Bordeaux manager Jean Tigana is facing a few worries with his defence, especially with the right flank.

Already missing their main right back, Matthieu Chalmé, with an ankle injury, the Girondins will probably have to do without his substitute, Lamine Sané, victim of a thigh injury last week-end against Saint-Étienne. According to the daily newspaper Sud-Ouest, this cascade of injuries could profit to the young central defender Vujadin Savić, recruited this summer and already given three starts during the first Ligue 1 Game Weeks this season.

Also injured against Saint-Étienne, Benoît Trémoulinas should be present at left back, with Michaël Ciani and Fernando starting in central defence. Marc Planus and Henrique are still recovering from long injuries.
