Players on loan: An exploit for N’Diaye

Players on loan: An exploit for N'Diaye

For the first game in the Coupe de France’s Round of sixty-four, Paris FC (National) managed an exploit by winning on the road against Toulouse FC (2-1) this Friday evening.

For Rennes goalkeeper Cheick N’Diaye, on loan at Paris FC, the Coupe de France is a real breathe of fresh air, while he still waits for his chance to play a league game with the Parisian team. First choice in the goals for the Coupe de France however, the Senegalese played a major role in his team’s qualification against Toulouse, managing a great game despite a few minor imprecisions.

The Coupe de France is certainly a competition N’Diaye enjoys. In 2007-2008, he was given the chance to play a game against Olympique Lyonnais during a first loan at Créteil. He also played a semi-final, replacing Nicolas Douchez against Grenoble in April 2009.

N’Diaye and his team-mates are now waiting for the Round of thirty-two draw, Sunday evening. In this Paris team, former Rennes player Antoine Ponroy (trained at the club, part of the Danzé, Gourcuff, Marveaux generation) also managed an excellent game in central defence.
