Injuries : Montaño out two to three weeks, Dalmat as well

Another blow for Frédéric Antonetti.. Injured on Sunday against Cannes, Victor Hugo Montaño will be unavailable for several weeks. The Rennes managed confirmed the news to L’Équipe on Tuesday morning. The Colombian will “return against Sochaux in the best of scenarios (on January 29th), or at worst against Paris (February 5th)” according to the Corsican technician. He will therefore miss at least the game against Arles-Avignon this Saturday, and the Round of 32 Coupe de France game the following week-end.

Adding to this injury is the forfeit of Stéphane Dalmat. Even though the midfielder played the game until the end on Sunday, he reportedly suffers from an adductor injury, and could also miss “two to three weeks” according to Antonetti.

Finally, also missing at training this morning, Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik was rested because of a pain to his patellar tendon.
