Transfers : Féret interested in Rennes

Trained at Stade Rennes, Julien Féret could come back to the “Rouge et Noir” house this summer. The player from the Cotes d’Armor, not kept by the club in 2003, has slowly reached up the steps even since, and his now knocking at the doors of the French team (read previously). Enough to draw covetous glances towards the Nancy midfielder.

Talking to RMC this Thursday, Féret knows he is likely to leave the Lorraine in the next months. “The President and Nicolas Holveck (Ed. : The ASNL’s managing director)opened the door to a possible departure, and this for any player, he affirms. If there is an interesting opportunity for me, we will discuss it”.

But would the Stade Rennais be an interesting destination? «Yes, obviously yes, Féret replies immediately. I’ve been in touch with them at the beginning of the year, but it was only them taking information, to see what I would be interesting in. Now, it’s up to them if they want to do more about it, but at this moment, they haven’t told me, they haven’t told my club either”.

By all means, Julien Féret is sure that signing for Rennes would be a “progression for him”. “However, I don’t feel the need to leave whatever the price, the midfielder continues. But if I had the occasion, it would be a progression for me”.
