Tettey talks about his goalkeeping debuts

Talking to L’Équipe, this Monday, Alexander Tettey came back on his peculiar experience, last Saturday at the Stade Bonal.

«When Douchez came out, I took his gloves and no-one wanted to get in the goals », the Norwegian midfielder explains. As a result, Tettey lived the first twenty minutes as a goalkeeper in his career. “I had never been in the goals, not even at training”, he comments.
An unexpected debut sanctionned with two goals conceded, but the Norwegian international didn’t look that ridiculous. With a bit more luck, he could even have stopped Boudebouz’ penalty.

Arrived in the goals with a smile on his face, Tettey is since adamant at the comical value of his situation. “in that game we never really started, it was rather funny finally”. If you look at it this way…
