Contracts : Antonetti declined a contract extension offer

In Wednesday’s edition, Ouest-France reported that the Stade Rennes manager had refused an offer to extend his contract for another three years, last Wednesday.

François Pinault and Patrick Le Lay had made the trip to the Stade de la Route de Lorient for the introduction of John Verhoek to the media. But the newspaper affirms they weren’t only present for that signature: “During the day, the Rennes management has proposed a three years contract extension to Frédéric Antonetti. He declined the offer for the moment."
