Toulouse - Rennes : reassuring news for Vidal

After a clash with Jérôme Leroy on the action leading to the victorious penalty scored by Víctor Hugo Montaño, Marc Vidal came out of the pitch on the stretcher with a long cut on his knee. Alain Casanova was forced to launch his… fourth goalkeeper, Ali Ahamada, aged only 19.

While the first diagnostics led to believe that the young goalkeeper’s ligaments had been damaged, Toulouse FC’s official website revealed that Vidal would only missed two weeks of action in order for the injury to scar.
