Former players: Luís Fabiano returns to Brazil

This Friday evening, FC Seville announced they had reached an agreement with FC São Paulo for the transfer of international Brazilian striker Luís Fabiano

The former Rennais will therefore return to Brazil and to the club he had left in 2004 to return in Europe two years after he left Brittany. According to Marca, the Brazilian club spend 7.6 million euros to convince the Andalucía club to let their player go, to which up to five million euros in bonuses could be added.

Having scored over a hundred goals with Seville, Luís Fabiano has notably won the 2006 and 2007 UEFA cups, and the European Supercup in 2006. With São Paulo, the club he was loaned to by Rennes in 2001 before a definitive transfer in 2002, he will soon be able to debut in the Paulista championship, before the national league starts at the end of May.
