International : Montaño with Colombia for the first time

Victor Hugo Montaño has received his first call-up with the national team of Colombia, the Stade Rennais announced on their official website. The Colombian national team will be travelling to Spain, on March 26th, to play a friendly against Ecuador (in Madrid) and in the Netherlands three days later for a second friendly against Chile (at Den Haag).

This is the first full international call-up for the Stade Rennais striker who, until then, had only been called with the Colombian U20 team and for a non-official game.
On February 2nd, his selection had already been announced, although he wasn’t in the list of players called-up. Montaño had expressed his disappointment. There should be no such issue this time for the Colombian striker.
