The injury list cleared before Rennes-Auxerre?

Handicapped by multiple injuries in attack against Lyon, Stade Rennes could be counting on a nearly-complete squad for the reception of AJ Auxerre, in two weeks.

Indeed, according to Ouest-France, Yacine Brahimi should have fully recovered of his thigh injury to return, after he missed the last two games against Marseille and Lyon and couldn’t start a game since the reception of Nice, mid-February. His return would be excellent news for an attacking line lacking imagination since a few games.

Another return hoped for, Razak Boukari’s . The Togolese has also picked up a thigh injury before the trip to Lyon, but he could, according to Frédéric Antonetti, return against Auxerre. With Montaño banned for the next game, Boukari could return at the centre-forward position he had already occupied in January, in the absence of the Colombian.

Leaving aside the long-term injuries of Apam and Marveaux, the only potential absentee could therefore be Jirès Kembo, who keeps on suffering of the consequences of the injury received against Bordeaux, on December 12th. Since then, the young striker has never recovered completely.

As for Abdoul Camara, he played a fair part of Saturday’s game with back-pain. “From the half-hour, I was blocked, the young striker explained to Ouest-France. I’ve been struggling with it since a few days”. An injury which hasn’t stopped him from joining the France U21 team, but may well result in him being rested by the Bleuets’ coaching staff.
