Féret : «If I was sure to play for Rennes...»

On Saturday, an obviously special game is expecting Julien Féret at the Route de Lorient. Trained at Stade Rennes’ Academy, the midfielder is struggling with AS Nancy-Lorraine to avoid the drop to Ligue 2.

Announced as one of the main targets of Rennes’ recruitment since months, the Breton admits, in the pages of L’Est Républicain, that talks are on between his agent and his first club, while reminding that “nothing is done” and that the possibility of joining Rennes this summer won’t affect his preparation for this Saturday.

At Nancy, the word is also that the midfielder’s fate isn’t yet decided. “We know about Rennes’ interest, but we haven’t been in touch with them, says Nicolas Holveck, the ASNL’s general director. Several French and foreign clubs are enquiring about Julien”.
According to L’Équipe, FC Lorient are one of the clubs interested by Féret, pre-selectioned several times with the French National team this season.
