Contracts : option taken for Pajot

After announcing the contract extension of John Boye, Stade Rennes also announced they have taken the option they had on midfielder Vincent Pajot’s contract.

Pajot, 20 years old, was loaned to Boulogne-sur-Mer (Ligue 2) this season. At the end of last season, he had signed a first professional contract for a year, with an option for two additional years.
Satisfied with the performances of the player, who became a regular starter with Boulogne and has been included in the France U21 squad, Stade Rennes have finally raised the option. Vincent Pajot is therefore linked with the club until 2013.

In a press release, Stade Rennes stated that the midfielder would “join Frédéric Antonetti’s squad next season”. He could therefore start in Ligue 1 next season, while another loan had initially been considered.
