Aged 34, former Rennes player Cédric Bardon has decided to end his professional career.

Trained in Lyon, his hometown, the striker has played there for four years before joining Stade Rennais in 1998. He has stayed in Rennes for three years, where he scored 14 goals in 75 games. After Guingamp then Le Havre, he chose a particular way to his career.

His period in Levski Sofia (Bulgaria) enabled him to enhance his achievements and to play in Champion’s League. He would do the same with Anorthosis Famagouste (Cyprus). Last season, Bardon had returned in France to play with Fréjus Saint-Raphaël (National).

Putting a end to his player carreer, Cédric Bardon doesn’t really leave the football world. According to foot69.fr, he is going to become the manager of AS Pusignan, a small club from a local league near Lyon.
