International, France : M’Vila on the substitutes’ bench

For the second time only since the nomination of Laurent Blanc at the head of France selection, Yann M’Vila started an international match on the substitutes’ bench.

Against Belarus, the national manager preferred to start with a pair of defensive midfields constituted of Alou Diarra and Abou Diaby. However, M’Vila probably benefited of this Friday match, since Diarra and Diaby played a lacklustre game. Frequently being at fault, authors of many lacks of precision, the two midfielders didn’t control the match, which partly explains the disappointing final result for Les Bleus (1-1)

Monday, for France’s next friendly match in Ukraine, Laurent Blanc is expected to modify the composition of the team, probably to the benefit of the young Rennes player.
