Former staff : Bölöni goes to Greece

Not retained by RC Lens after its relegation to Ligue 2, Laszlo Bölöni didn’t wait long before finding a new position.

The Romanian technician has just signed a two years contract with PAOK Thessaloniki (Greek first division), which is Olivier Sorlin’s former clun. This will be the first time that Bölöni coaches in this country, after having worked in Romania, France, Portugal, United Arab Emirates and Belgium. In this new mission, he will work alongside Joaquim Rolão Preto, his usual assistant since his experience at Sporting CP, except during the RC Lens period.

Third of the last Greek championship, a position they obtained after the play-offs, PAOK will play in the Europa League next season, just as the Stade Rennais.
