Antonetti : “I’m very likely to remain in Rennes”

Rumours have been flooding since several weeks regarding a possible extension of Frédéric Antonetti’s stay in Rennes. Indeed, the current contract tying the club and his manager is only running out at the term of the current season.

In the press-conference yesterday afternoon, Frédéric Antonetti discussed his future in a rather encouraging way for those who hope to see the Corsican remain in Rennes for a few more seasons: “I’m very likely to remain in Rennes. It would be logical and make sense that I went on with the work I’ve started doing this year”, he explained.

On their website, Le Mensuel de Rennes explain that Frédéric Antonetti is currently holding talks with his management in order to find out “what the value of the team and the general orientations of the club will be”. “Discussing a contract isn’t only about salary, if it was the case it would be very easy”, he finishes.
