Badiane : «I need to reach a new step»

Transferred at Stade Lavallois after a season long loan in Dijon, Lhadji Badiane has been officially presented by the club from Mayenne yesterday.

The Alsace born forward, whose contract in Rennes is being terminated according to Ouest-France, will sign a two years contract with Laval. “I’ve just turned 24, I need to reach a new step, to play, to score goals, to be decisive, Badiane explained on a video published on Laval’s website. I think that in Rennes, I would probably not have had the chance. I thought it was better to terminate my contract and move to a team where I will get an opportunity”.

Followed by Reims and Le Mans despite an average season and a few injuries, Lhadji Badiane is now hoping to “unite play time and efficiency” with Stade Lavallois’ Tango shirt.
