Brahimi and Hadji injured again

Brahimi and Hadji injured again

If Yacine Brahimi and Youssouf Hadji remained out of the trip to Auxerre this Sunday, it is indeed because of injuries and not because of squad rotation.

Both included in the starting XI against Celtic on Thursday, the two players have been suffering with thigh injuries. The Moroccan international, who came back from international duty with adductor pain, seems to be still suffering, and he has logically been left to rest for the trip to Auxerre.

As for Brahimi, it is Saturday morning during the last training session at La Piverdière that the young attacking midfielder understood he wouldn’t be able to hold his place at the stade de l’Abbé-Deschamps, according to Ouest-France. Suffering with painful articulations (ankle, fibula) at the beginning of the season, it seems that he is now injured to the right thigh. The extent of the injury isn’t known at this moment
Injured to the thigh several time during the second half of the 2010-2011 season, he declared in a press conference on Friday that he had “never been used to injuries” in the past.
