CFA2 : Basse for one more year

CFA2 : Basse for one more year

According to our information, Benjamin Basse has signed for another season in Rennes on an amateur contract.
In June 2010, the player had signed a one year professional trainee contract, arriving from Mantes-la-Jolie - the club he played in when Stade Rennais spotted him during a double-confrontation against Laurent Huard’s CFA team, in the 20092-2010 season – to deal with the departure of Larry Adejuji, not kept at the club at the end of his aspirant contract, and since then gone to Valenciennes.

A member of the 1991 generation, Basse wasn’t offered a professional contract last June, notably because of recurrent hamstring injuries. The same injury had already troubled his early season last year. This season, Basse will be a member of the CFA2 team, and will be in competition for the left back position with youngster Kévin Beauverger, who has just signed a two years trainee contract.
