CFA2, friendly: a full game for Apam

CFA2, friendly: a full game for Apam

In a week-end without competitive fixtures because of the participation of numerous CFA2 clubs to the eight round of the Coupe de France, the Stade Rennes Reserve played a friendly game this Saturday against a team playing in the superior division, the USJA Carquefou (CFA).

The Rennais lost (1-2) after conceding two early goals by Mayulu (1’) and Ollivier (10’), reducing the score in the second half through Jonathan Isambart (57’).
But beyond the result, the presence of Onyekachi Apam on the pitch was the most notable information of the day. After playing one hour with the Reserve a fortnight ago, the Nigerian defender has played the whole of the game this time, the club announced in a press release.

Another step in the scheduled return of the defender, who seems well on his way towards a return. Next week-end, Laurent Huard’s men will return to the CFA2 with a trip to Granville. Possibly with Apam in the squad once again.
