Coupe de la Ligue: Rennes will travel to Le Mans

Stade Rennes will have to travel for its first match in the Coupe de la Ligue.

Exempted from the round of 32, because of its participation in European competition, Stade Rennes have been drawn against Le Mans (Ligue 2) for the round of 16, during the drawing organized this Tuesday in Paris.
A quite favourable draw, since Le Mans is one of only three Ligue 2 clubs still in the competition, but this draw will force the Rennais to travel in order to discover a MMArena where they are yet to play for the first time.

The match will be played on Tuesday 25th or Wednesday 26th October, between two other games on the road, at Auxerre and then at Toulouse. With another trip planned to Glasgow the next week, Stade Rennes will have to play four away games in a row, between 22th October and 3rd November.
After a disappointing beginning of the season, Le Mans is ranked at the eighteenth position in Ligue 2, with only one victory and four defeats.
