Discipline: justice for Féret

Severely tackled by Souleymane Diawara during Stade Rennes’s recent match in Marseille, the « assaulter» of Julien Féret only received a yellow card delivered by the match referee M. Buquet, while the Marseille’s defender could (should?) have received a red card on this action.

This injustice is now repaired by the LFP’s discipline committee, which, after having studied the complementary reports of the referee and submitted it to the viewing committee, finally decided to suspend Diawara for two games.
Diawara is allowed to play this week-end, but the Senegalese will miss the eleventh game week (against Ajaccio) and the following Coupe de la Ligue match (against Lens).
