Europa League : Tough draw for the Stade Rennais

The draw of Europa League’s group phase, this Friday in Monaco, has reserved some very tough opponents to Stade Rennais.

Dropped in Pot 3, the “Rouge et Noir” will face Spanish club Atlético Madrid, the winners of the competition in 2010, Italians from Udinese, fourth of the last Italian championship and the Swiss of FC Sion, winners of the Switzerland Cup.

A quite difficult group I for Rennes, who will have the opportunity to measure themselves to high level oponents. To be qualified, they must succeed in taking one of the first two positions in the group.
