Former Players : Delaye, Stanger and Vignal prepare their coaching badges

Next February, three former Stade Rennes players will try to pass the BEES exam (French national diploma of sports teacher), mandatory to take care of young players or to train at a local level.

Retired since 2010 after having played during the last five seasons with Montpellier, Philippe Delaye is one of the trainees who will be taught by FFF. This is also the case for the globe-trotter Grégory Vignal, loaned during a half-season to Stade Rennes by Liverpool in 2003-2004 and who had to stop his career because of a serious injury, and for William Stanger, trained at Rennes’ academy and who currently plays with Le Poiré-sur-Vie in National.

They will be trained with other former professional players including Charles-Édouard Coridon, Pascal Cygan, Stéphane Dumont, Pascal Delhommeau, Marco Simone or Marama Vahirua.
