Former Players: Pouplin’s trial is already over

Invited for a trial period on Thursday at Évian Thonon Gaillard, Simon Pouplin didn’t spend long with the team from Savoie.

Talking to RMC, the president of the promoted club Patrick Trotignon hinted that his coaching staffhad ended the former Rennes goalkeeper’s trial prematurely. The reason is the physical aptitude of the player, badly injured to his ankle last season, and whose last game dates back to summer 2010.
