Former players : Louhoungou in National

Looking for more playing-time since his arrival one year ago at Boulogne-sur-Mer (Ligue 2), David Louhoungou has been loaned for to Besançon (National) for the 2011-2012 season.

The French-Congolese midfielder, 22 years old, never found his place since his arrival at Boulogne, especially because of numerous injuries. Thus, he didn’t play a single match in Ligue 2 last year, and only appeared during a French League Cup match and two French Cup matches.

Trained at Stade Rennes’ academy after he went through INF Clairefontaine, Louhoungou played as centre back (with Samuel Souprayen) in the 2008 Gambardella Cup winning team. Starting 17 matches with the reserve in 2008-2009, he was not retained by the club after the end of his trainee contract. After two experiences in Scotland and in Turkey, he came back in France in September 2010, when he signed with Boulogne.
