Franck Julienne loaned to Le Havre

As every year, Rennes is looking for a place for their youngsters to finish learning their trade. Following this habit, and as L’Équipe’s website announced today, Frank Julienne will be loaned to Le Havre, in Ligue 2. In Normandy, he will reunite with Maxime Le Marchand, his former team-mate in the club’s youth team with whom he won the 2008 Gambardella Cup.
Called into Frédéric Antonetti’s squad in several occasions during the 2010-2011 season, Julienne had the chance to discover the highest level in January this year, replacing Razak Boukari for the final minutes of a game against Arles-Avignon (4-0).

At the same time, Julienne remained the reserve’s best goal scorer for most of the season in CFA, before being overtaken by Quentin Rouger at the end of the season (six goals). Playing mostly on a wing, the man from Gonesse can also play as a striker or as a supporting forward. In December 2010, Julienne signed his first professional contract before even reaching the term of his intern contract.
