Gambardella: an easy win for Rennes

As the senior team on Saturday evening, the Stade Rennais U19 didn’t suffer to qualify. Laurent Huard’s players earned an easy qualification for the round of 64 of the Gambardella Cup, beating Sablé-sur-Sarthe by six goals to nil.

The Rennais scored early by El Guennouni, who earned a brace during the first half, and went back to the dressing room with a three goal lead at half-time, thanks to a goal by N’Gando. Another goal by Hunou and a double for Héry in the second half allowed the “Rouge et Noir” to manage an even larger win.
