International: Diallo with a “bis” U21 team

Once in a while, the French U20 national team is reappearing from nowhere. Sometimes in the continuity of the U19 team, as last summer when it took part in the age category’s World Cup, but most often to give some international playing time to players knocking at the door of the French U21 team.

With no international competition scheduled, it is indeed to have a look at young elements that could join the « Bleuets »that the FFF has organised two friendlies for the U20, on 10th and 13th November in Ramat Gan (Israel).
Under the management of Philippe Bergeroo, all the players are born either in 1991 or 1992, and are therefore likely to join the U21 team in the seasons to come. Amongst them are L1 player with reduced playing time or L2 players who have already proved their ability, such as former Rennes Academy player Lindsay Rose

One Rennes player is included in this selection, Abdoulaye Diallo. He will once again be competing with Le Havre’s Zacharie Boucher, of whom he was the shadow last season with the U19.
