International: Mangane selected

Senegal national coach Amara Traoré has announced a list of players called for the friendly to be played by the Teranga Lions against Morocco on August 10th.

As usual, Kader Mangane is part of this squad. The Rennes captain will be associated in defence with Jacques Faty, who didn’t make the previous lists. Two other former Rennes players have been called, midfielder Papakouli Diop and striker Moussa Sow.

The friendly game will be played in Dakar, and will be used by Senegal to prepare its next qualification game for the 2012 African Cup of Nations, on September 3rd against the Democratic Republic of Congo. A win in that game would ensure the qualification of Senegal for the final tournament.
