International: a large defeat for Norway

Continuation of last week-end international results of Rennes’ players.

Saturday afternoon in Cardiff, the Norway largely lost a friendly game against Wales (1-4). The British made the difference very early in the games, thanks to goals scored by Gareth Bale (11’) and Craig Bellamy (15’). Norwegian striker Erik Huseklepp (followed by Stade Rennes for a while) reduced the score at the hour mark (61’), but the Welsh strengthened their victory with a double of Sam Vokes in two minutes (88’ and 89’).

Alexander Tettey played the whole 90 minutes of the match at midfield. Since no other match is planned for Norway, he should be back in the Piverdière at the beginning of this week.
