Kana-Biyik, out for two weeks?

A first big blow for Frédéric Antonetti this season. According to Ouest-France this Saturday, the Rennes manager will have to do without Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik for at least fifteen days following a thigh injury.
Consequently, if this unavailability was confirmed, the French-Cameroonese centre-back would probably miss all the pre-season friendlies, and his involvement in the Europa League’s third qualifying round game scheduled on July 28th would be seriously compromised.

Still according to the daily newspaper, Victor Hugo Montaño suffered with a strained knee ligament. He should return to specific training sessions before joining his team-mates by the middle of next week. He will therefore not take part in the first friendly game of this season against Vannes, next Wednesday. As for Vincent Pajot, the French U21 international joined his two team-mates in the medical ward, following an alert to his right knee.
