LFP: Le Lay will sit at the management board

Stade Rennes’ president Patrick Le Lay will sit from now on at the management board of the French Professional Football League (LFP). The former president of TV channel TF1 has been elected as a representative of clubs, alongside Vincent Labrune, president of Marseille. These two men replace Jean-Claude Dassier and Alexandre Lacombe.

This election was already decided last Thursday, when the UCPF – the union of clubs managers – appointed Le Lay and Labrune as candidates to this election, to the detriment of Évian’s president Patrick Trotignon. Also a candidate (see previously), Lorient president Loïc Féry withdrew from this election a few days ago.
