Mangane suffers with sinusitis

Since several weeks, Kader Mangane has been suffering with acute sinusitis, which is obviously disturbing him a lot during the games.

«I struggle. In competition, it is difficult to breathe only with the mouth », the captain explained this Monday to Libération. An issue which started in the middle of the pre-season preparation and that has naturally a lot of influence on the Senegalese midfielder’s performances.

In order to treat the illness, Mangane would be forced to used unauthorised drugs which could cause himself to fail a doping-test. Therefore, refusing to take a ten days break in order not to “lose his condition”, the defender is resigning himself to wait, until the pain disappears by itself.
Since the beginning of the season, Mangane is one of only five players who have played all of the four competitive games played by the club.
