Nice - Rennes : Kana-Biyik suspended

Dismissed at the end of the game against Évian for a violent push on forward Saber Khlifa, Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik will receive an automatic ban for the Rouge et noir’s next game in the league. He will therefore miss the trip to Nice, next Saturday in Ligue 1’s sixteenth game week.

Because of his antecedents (the Rennes defender had been dismissed last season after contesting a refereeing decision during a game against Lorient), Kana-Biyik could see his ban extended, which could keep him out of one or several further games. The commission of discipline will give its verdict on Thursday evening.
